Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work («Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Holding the brace with a 24 mm wrench from turning, with a second wrench of the same size, unscrew the brace fastening nut.
3. Remove the thrust washer.
4. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the three bolts securing the bracket to the car body.
5. Remove the bracket from the extension.
6. If necessary, remove the second thrust washer and shims, remembering or writing down their number and location, so as not to disturb the adjustment of the angle of longitudinal inclination of the axis of rotation.
Installation
Recommendation. After replacing the brace bracket, it is necessary to check the alignment of the front wheels at the service center.
Installation of all parts removed during disassembly is carried out in the reverse order.
Warning! When installing the adjusting washer, it is necessary that the chamfer on its inner edge faces the extension.
