1. Turn on/off the function
Enable the function «QC» performed by pressing a key «CC». The
yellow indicator will turn on on the CP, indicating that the function is enabled. Pressing the key again «CC» will disable the feature «QC», the indicator will turn off on the gearbox, and the indication of the set vehicle speed will turn off on the LCD.
2. Activation of the function with speed setting
When enabled «QC» by pressing the accelerator pedal, you need to dial the desired speed of the car. After reaching the desired vehicle speed by pressing the button «Set+» (or «Set-») you can record the speed of the car if the following conditions are met:
- vehicle speed should be higher (or equal) 40 km/h or less (or equal) 150 km/h;
- engine speed not lower than 1200 rpm and not higher than 5500 rpm;
- the gear of the gearbox must be at least third (for manual transmission).
Function «QC» is activated, and the green indicator
will turn on on the gearbox, indicating the activation of the function, and the indication of the set vehicle speed will turn on on the LCD. After the accelerator pedal is released, the vehicle will maintain the selected speed.
If the activation conditions are not met, the yellow indicator
on the CP will flash for 5 seconds, then turn on again permanently. Function «QC» it is not activated.
3. Changing the set speed of the vehicle with the function activated «QC»
Single key press «Set+» will increase the set vehicle speed by 1 km/h. The LCD will display updated information about the selected vehicle speed.
Single key press «Set-» will cause a decrease in the set vehicle speed by 1 km/h. The LCD will display updated information about the selected vehicle speed.
Long press (more than 0.5 seconds) keys «Set+» will cause the set vehicle speed to increase until the button is released.
The LCD will display updated information about the selected vehicle speed.
Long press (more than 0.5 seconds) keys «Set-» will cause the set vehicle speed to decrease until the button is released.
The LCD will display updated information about the selected vehicle speed.
One long press of a key «Set+» (or «Set-») the change in the set vehicle speed will not exceed 30 km/h.
Pressing the accelerator pedal will cause the vehicle speed to increase even if the function is activated «QC». After releasing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle will reduce the speed to the set speed and maintain it.
4. Resume, function deactivation
When you press the brake pedal, long press (more than 5 seconds) clutch pedal (for manual transmission) or pressing a key «OK», with activated function «QC», the function will be deactivated «QC» while maintaining the established (fixed) the driver of the vehicle speed value in memory. The
yellow indicator should turn on at the CP.
If the activated function «QC» cannot maintain the set vehicle speed (for example, on descents, ascents, or when the manual transmission gear is incorrectly selected by the driver), the function will be deactivated and the set vehicle speed will be stored in memory.
Subsequent activation of the function «QC» possible by pressing the key «OK», while the system is activated with the restoration of the saved value of the vehicle speed from the memory, and the
green indicator on the gearbox turns on.
The function can also be activated by re-setting the set speed by pressing the keys «Set+» or «Set-» (see above).
5. Faults
In the event of a malfunction of the steering column switch, the function «QC» turns off, on the gearbox all signaling devices of the function are turned off, subsequent pressing of the button «Menu» are ignored.
If an ECM malfunction occurs that prevents normal operation of the function «QC», the function is deactivated, all indicators of the function are switched off on the gearbox for 2 seconds, after which the function selection mode is switched on on the additional LCD of the gearbox «QC and OS» - signaling device
. Exit from this mode is possible after a long (more than 1 second) button press «Menu».
