5.1 Turning the Bluetooth® function on or off
5.1.1 You can turn Bluetooth® on or off in the following ways:
- on the menu «Connecting bodies» in the system settings of the radio;
- long press on the button (rice. 2., pos. 10) - turn on Bluetooth®;
- long press on the button (rice. 2., pos. 13) - turn off Bluetooth®.
5.2 Connecting a Bluetooth® phone
Attention! Observe the legal provisions regarding the use of a telephone in a vehicle.
5.2.1 The phone must be switched off in areas where it is forbidden to use mobile phones! Observe the applicable instructions and regulations.
5.2.2 The radio receiver system supports the following services:
- Bluetooth® specification version 1.1 or later (version 2.1+EDR recommended);
- HFP (Hands Free Profile) version 1.0 or later;
- A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) version 1.0 or later.
5.2.3 If the mobile phone does not support HFP, it is not possible to register the phone and use the A2DP service separately.
5.2.4 Please make sure your phone has Bluetooth® function before connecting.
5.2.5 To connect to the radio, turn on the Bluetooth® function on your phone. If your phone has visibility mode, turn it on as well. We also recommend that you refer to your phone's user guide for more information on setting up and pairing Bluetooth® devices.
5.2.6 To connect to the radio receiver, you need to enable the search for new Bluetooth® devices in the menu of your phone. In the list of found Bluetooth® devices, select MMC12. If prompted for a password, enter «0000».
Note. When performing this operation, it is recommended to refer to the user manual of your phone.
5.2.7 After successful connection, the display will show BT icon (rice. 3, pos. 7).
5.2.8 The radio can only work with one phone at a time. To connect another phone to the radio, you must turn off the Bluetooth® function on the connected phone and follow the connection procedure on the other phone.
Note. Some cell phones may not work properly in Bluetooth® mode with this radio, which is not a malfunction. To check operation, test the radio with another cell phone.
5.2.9 Correct operation with a phone that uses two or more SIM cards in Hands Free mode is not guaranteed. It is recommended to refer to the user manual of this phone.
5.3 Turning off the phone
5.3.1 You can disable your phone as follows:
- turn off the Bluetooth® function on your phone;
- press and hold the button (rice. 2., pos. 13).
Note. If the phone is on a call when switched off, the conversation will automatically switch from the car's speakers to the phone.
5.4 Talking on the phone
5.4.1 When there is an incoming call, the caller's number will be displayed at the bottom of the screen (this function depends on the service package provided by your mobile operator).
5.4.2 Connection for a conversation is carried out by pressing the button (rice. 2., pos. 10).
5.4.3 Rejecting a call or ending a call is done by pressing the button (rice. 2., pos. 13).
5.4.4 During a telephone conversation it is possible:
- change the volume with the encoder knob (pos. 6);
- accept an incoming call by pressing the button (rice. 2., pos. 10);
- end the conversation by pressing the button (rice. 2., pos. 13).
5.4.5 The radio receiver stores information about the last connected phone. If the connection is interrupted, for example, when moving away from the car and then returning, to reconnect, just press the button twice (rice. 2., pos. 10).
Note. Not all phone models may support this feature. To re-establish a connection, your phone must have Bluetooth® activated and be visible (depends on phone model).
5.5 Listening to music from your phone
5.5.1 If you have a device connected to the radio via Bluetooth® (phone) it is possible to listen to audio files (A2DP mode). To enter the A2DP mode, you must:
- successive presses of the AUDIO button (pos. 20) select A2DP mode;
- launch player on phone (Not all phone models support this feature).
5.5.2 Playback control is carried out similarly to the mode «Audio».
Note. Please make sure your phone supports A2DP mode before using this feature.
5.6 Saving and calling phone numbers
5.6.1 Your radio remembers the last incoming/outgoing phone number.
5.6.2 To view the last number, you must:
- enter mode «Telephone» (by pressing the button (rice. 2., pos. 10), press the button again» (rice. 2., pos. 10), and the number will be displayed on the radio screen;
- if you are in the mode «Telephone», press the button (rice. 2., pos. 10), and the number will be displayed on the radio screen.
You have the opportunity to save up to 6 numbers, for this you need:
- while the last incoming / outgoing telephone number is displayed on the display, press and hold one of the buttons 1-6 until the number is displayed in the middle of the line;
- it is also possible to save the current phone number during a call, for this you need to press and hold one of the buttons 1-6 until the number is displayed in the middle of the line.
5.6.3 To call a previously stored phone number, you must switch to the «Telephone», for this, shortly press the button (rice. 2., pos. 10). Then use the keys 1-6 to select the desired number, which will appear on the display in the bottom line. To confirm dialing, short press the button (rice. 2., pos. 10).
Note. Stored phone numbers can be deleted from memory by resetting the radio to factory settings (subsection 6.3 «System settings»).
