To check the tightness of the brake system on a car, you will need: «at 15», a special wrench for nuts securing brake hoses and brake pipes or a wrench «on 10».
1. Examine a reservoir of the main brake cylinder and connections of brake tubes with the main brake cylinder.
2. Check for leaks of brake fluid in the connections of the brake pipes with tees...
3....and with a brake pressure regulator. If leakage of brake fluid is detected, tighten the tips of the brake pipes (use a special key).
4. Carefully inspect the brake hoses. They should not have cracks, tears and traces of rubbing. Press all the way down on the brake pedal. If swelling appears on the brake hose, it means that the threads of the braid of the brake hose are torn and it must be replaced.
5. Check up fastening of brake tubes in holders. Loose or broken holders lead to vibration and, as a result, to breakage of the brake pipes.
6. Inspect the connection of the brake hose with the wheel cylinder, the fitting for releasing the air of the brake mechanisms of the front wheels...
7.... and rear wheel brakes.
