Bent inner tie rod ends must be replaced.
To remove, install the outer tie rod end and replace the protective cover of the ball joint on a car, you will need: pliers, keys «at 13», «at 19», «at 27».
1. Remove the relevant front wheel from the vehicle.
2. Clean the tie rod-to-swivel arm nut and apply a WD-40 liquid wrench to the threaded connection to make it easier to loosen the nut.
3. Loosen the tie rod end bolt.
4. Squeeze the cotter pin and remove it from the ball stud.
5. Loosen the nut...
6.... and press out the ball joint pin using a puller.
7. Turn away a nut of fastening of steering draft and remove draft from an aperture.
8. Turn away a tip from steering draft, counting quantity of turns. This will help when installing the steering tip to approximately maintain the convergence of the wheels on the car.
9. If it is required to replace the steering trapezoid rod, unscrew it, also counting the number of turns when unscrewing.
10. Establish a steering tip in an order, the return to removal. Before tightening the tie rod end bolt and pressing in the ball joint of the outer tie rod end, make sure that the plane of the joint is parallel to the bearing surface of the swing arm. Adjust the ball joint if necessary.
11. Torque tighten the ball joint pin nut and tighten it until the nearest cotter pin slot in the nut matches. After installing the steering tip, check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
12. Remove the boot sealing ring.
13. Remove anther spring ring.
14. Remove anther from a tip of steering draft.
15. Remove dirty top layer of lubricant (if it is noticeable that dirt has got inside the hinge, then such a hinge will have to be replaced) and apply new grease. Fill the new boot half full with grease and install it on the hinge, pushing the boot edge into the seat on the hinge housing until it stops.
16. Install spring and o-rings.
17. Check up correctness of installation of rings and tightness of anther edges adjoining.
