Removal and installation of the generator 9402.3701-06

To remove and install the generator on the car, you will need a socket wrench «at 13».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Loosen the alternator drive belt (see «Checking the tension of the alternator drive belt and replacing it»).



3. Disconnect a socket with wires from conclusions of the generator.



4. Remove the rubber cover, unscrew the nut and disconnect the wires from the generator power terminal stud.



5. Turn away a nut of a bolt of the top fastening of the generator to an arm and take out a bolt from an arm.



6. Turn out a bolt of the lower fastening of the generator...



7.... while holding its nut on the back of the bracket...



8.... remove the bolt together with the bushings and remove the generator.

9. Establish on the car the generator in an order, the return to removal.
