The idle speed controller can only be removed after the throttle assembly has been removed.
Before removing the idle speed controller, check its serviceability directly on the car.
To replace the idle speed control on a car, you will need: a socket wrench (head) «at 13», Phillips screwdriver, tester.
1. Disconnect the harness connector from the idle speed control (with the ignition off).
2. Turn on the ignition on the car and measure the voltage between the output with a tester in voltmeter mode «A» connector and «weight» car.
3. Repeat the measurement one by one for the remaining pins of the connector («IN», «WITH» And «D»). The tester readings for these four measurements should be between 0.4-12 V.
4. Switch the tester to ohmmeter mode and measure the resistance between the terminals «A» And «IN» idle speed controller, and then between the terminals «WITH» And «D». The resistance should be in the range of 0.040-0.080 kOhm.
5. To replace the idle speed controller on the car, remove the throttle assembly (see «Removal and installation of the throttle assembly»).
6. Remove the two screws securing the idle speed controller to the throttle assembly and remove the idle speed controller from the hole in the throttle assembly.
7. For a new idle speed controller, check the distance L between the end of the valve needle and the mounting flange. It should be no more than 23 mm. If this distance is greater, the needle of the idle speed regulator will rest against the saddle of the throttle assembly and when the fastening screws are tightened, the idle speed regulator will be damaged.
8. Clean the seat and air channel in the throttle assembly, as well as the surface under the sealing ring of the idle speed regulator.
9. Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil and install the idle speed control to the vehicle in the reverse order of removal. Screws of fastening of a regulator of idling tighten the moment of 3-4 Н·м.
