1. Remove the front wheel drive from the car (see «Removal and installation of front wheel drives»).
2. Clamp the front wheel drive shaft in a vise with soft metal jaws so as not to damage the shaft.
3. Squeeze the bent antennae of the inner collar of the inner hinge cover with pliers, remove the collar lock and remove the collar.
4. Similarly remove an external collar of a cover.
5. Slide the mudguard over the front wheel drive shaft and turn it inside out.
6. Using a drift, knock the inner joint off the front wheel drive shaft, applying force to the CV joint race.
7. Please note: a plastic buffer is installed on the inner end of the front wheel drive shaft.
8. Check for grease in the new CV joint. It should be laid 80 cm cube. SHRUS-4 lubricants. If it seems to you that there is not enough lubrication in the hinge, add - extra lubrication will not hurt.
9. When installing the constant velocity joint, put it on the front wheel drive shaft with light blows of a hammer through a wooden spacer along the outer end of the shank along its axis until the joint is fixed on the shaft. When installing the CV joint, be careful not to get dirt into it.
10. Install the mudguard on the CV joint housing.
11. Establish external and internal collars of fastening of a cover of the hinge in an order, the return to removal.
12. If it is necessary to replace the cover, remove the hinge from the drive shaft, remove the air outlet valve assembly with the casing from the cover, sliding the valve along the front wheel drive shaft. Remove from a shaft of a drive of forward wheels a cover.
13. To replace the valve, unscrew its casing and, having removed the valve from the casing...
14.... remove the valve from the shaft.
15. Then remove the valve cover from the front wheel drive shaft.
16. Install the valve and a new front wheel drive boot in the reverse order of removal.
17. Having installed the constant velocity joint, secure the cover with clamps.
18. To replace the outer CV joint, remove its outer and inner clamps in the same way as it was done for the inner joint.
19. Slide the mudguard over the front wheel drive shaft and turn it inside out.
20. Using a drift, knock down the outer constant velocity joint from the front wheel drive shaft, applying force to the joint holder.
21. Install the outer constant velocity joint in the same way as installing the inner joint. The difference lies in the fact that 40 cm3 must be placed in the outer hinge of equal angular velocities. SHRUS-4 lubricants.
