Door gas stops — replacement

To complete the work, you will need a wooden lath about 1.5 m long.

Removing

1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).

2. Open the tailgate and install a wooden rail as a stop.

3. Disconnect the luggage compartment cords from the door.

4. With a 13 mm open-end wrench, first unscrew the lower and then the upper ball pins of the stop and remove the stop from the car.

Installation

Install the gas stop in reverse order.

Similarly, we replace the second stop.
