Removing
1. Drain the coolant (see «Coolant - replacement»).
2. Remove the electric fan (see «Electric fan - removal, disassembly and installation»).
3. Use pliers to unpin the clamp and disconnect the steam outlet hose of the radiator. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the clamps for fastening the upper and lower radiator hoses 1 and 3, remove the hoses from the radiator pipes.
Advice. Replace the band clamp with a more reliable one (e.g. screw).
4. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the radiator.
5. Carefully remove the radiator from the engine compartment.
6. If necessary, remove two rubber supports from the radiator and unscrew the drain plug with the gasket.
Installation
Advice. If the radiator has been in operation, before installation, clean it from the outside of dirt. Wash its interior with a cooling system cleaner (see «Operational and repair materials»), and outside with a jet of water.
1. When replacing a radiator, we rearrange rubber supports and a drain plug with a gasket on a new radiator (if they are missing on the new radiator).
2. Install the radiator in place in the reverse order of removal.
3. Install the electric fan and connect the wiring harness pads.
4. Fill the engine cooling system with liquid (see «Coolant - replacement»).
5. We make sure that there is no leakage of coolant at the joints. Tighten the hose clamps if necessary.
