Air filter — filter element replacement

On the recommendation of the manufacturer, we replace the air filter element after every 30,000 km of run.

Execution sequence

1. We prepare the car for repairs (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).

2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the air filter cover.



3. Raise the cover and remove the filter element from the cover.

4. We clean the internal cavity of the filter housing from dust.

5. We insert a new filter element into the filter housing.

Warning! The corrugations of the filter element should be located along the arrows marked on the inner surface of the air filter housing.

6. Install the cover in place.

7. We wrap the screws securing the cover.

Advice. In order for the housing cover to hermetically compress the seal of the filter element, the screws should be tightened evenly, half a turn, in several steps.
