Hidden cavities for anti-corrosion treatment
The anti-corrosion compound is injected at the points indicated in the figures:
1, 2, 3 and 4 - to protect the connection of the lining of the lower section of the sidewall of the body with the reinforcement of the lower section of the sidewall of the body.
5, 6 and 7 - to protect the connection of the floor with the reinforcement of the spar.
8 - to protect the connection of the floor with the front seat mounting cross member.
12, 13 and 14 - to protect the connection of the threshold panel with the amplifier of the threshold panel.
All other points are also injected with an anti-corrosion compound. All openings are closed with rubber plugs. After processing, do not forget to reinstall the plugs. Replace torn or missing plugs with new ones (see catalog numbers. Here).
Anti-corrosion treatment of hidden cavities is carried out using an extension hose, which is inserted into the cavity to the maximum possible depth, after which the composition is injected with simultaneous, gradual removal of the hose from the cavity.
