Coolant circulates through the radiator. Air passes either through the radiator, or past it, depending on what air temperature is set on the regulator.
In the event of a coolant leak from the stove radiator, it should be replaced.
Removing
Drain coolant (see here).
Remove sun visor, instrument cluster and floor tunnel center trim (see here).
Remove the piston and fold back the edge of the carpet.
Unscrew two bolts 1, Figure 14-1, fastening the reinforcement 2 of the instrument panel cross member to the body base (interchangeable head 13, knob).

... and disconnect the inlet pipes 2 and outlet pipes 1 from the heater core.
Remaining coolant may leak from the pipes and radiator. Take steps to prevent it from contaminating the floor mat.
The pipes are sealed with rubber rings. Be sure to replace the rings when installing the radiator.
Unscrew two screws 6, press out three clamps 5 and remove the radiator from the heater housing (interchangeable head Torx T20, extension, knob).
Installation
Install the heating radiator in the reverse order of removal, while installing new sealing rings on the pipes of the heating system.
