The cabin filter is located in the heater block under the instrument panel on the side of the glove box.
In the variant version, the car is equipped with a cabin dust filter of the HVAC module (cabin filter), installed in the heater. It is allowed to use in warranty and post-warranty operation at the request of the client combined (against odors) filter that meets the RENAULT 32-02-832 standard and is approved «AVTOVAZ» according to established order. The cabin filter of the HVAC module is made together with an integrated cover and is installed in the heater on the right side (passenger side). For ease of replacement, the design of the filter allows its deformation in a vertical plane.
How often to change the filter
For LADA Largus, the cabin filter change interval is set at 15,000 km. If necessary, the replacement can be made even earlier, if this is due to the need identified by the results of diagnosing the ventilation system *, or the operation of the vehicle in particularly dusty conditions.
*Note: The cabin filter must be replaced if, according to the results of a check at a LADA dealer, at a voltage of 12 V at the heater fan terminals, the flow (performance) air flow through a clogged filter is reduced by 8% or more compared to a new filter.
Attention! Untimely replacement of the cabin filter can lead to a deterioration in the operation of ventilation, heating and air conditioning, as well as to the risk of freezing of the cooler (evaporator), and as a result, to interruptions in the operation of the air conditioner.
