Only batteries with the same nominal voltage (12V) can be connected. Use jump start wires with insulated clips and cables of the correct size. Do not disconnect the battery from the vehicle's electrical system.
Connecting wires for jump start
1. Position the vehicles so that they do not touch each other.
2. Stop the engine and turn off all other electrical appliances.
3. Connect the positive (+) dead battery terminal to positive (+) terminal of a charged battery using wire A.
4. Connect one terminal of wire B to negative (-) terminal of a charged battery, and then under disconnect the other terminal of the wire B to the metal part of the engine to start. Install the jump start wires so that they do not come into contact with running parts of the engine.
5. Make sure that the wires do not tangle with the moving parts of the engine.
negative (-) The terminal of a discharged battery must not be disconnected.
Engine starting
1. The vehicle's engine with a charged battery must be running at high RPM.
2. Start the vehicle's engine with the dead battery. Attempt to start the vehicle with the dead battery within one minute.
3. Before disconnecting the wires, let the engine of both vehicles run for three minutes.
Disconnecting the trigger wires from an external source
Disconnect the wire first (-), and only then - wire A (+).
To reduce power surges during disconnection, please turn off the fan and electric rear window defogger of a vehicle with a dead battery. Please do not turn on the headlights instead of the heated rear window as the power surge may burn out and damage the bulbs.
