Hood lock adjustment

You will need a key «on 10».

1. Remove the front bumper (see «Removal and installation of a forward bumper»).



2. The position of the hood lock is adjusted due to the enlarged holes for the mounting bolts in the bracket on the body. To adjust, loosen both mounting bolts.



3. If there is a hard impact when closing the hood and it is difficult to open it, move the lock across the car.



4. If there is a lot of force when closing the hood or the vertical play of the hood in the closed position, move the lock vertically (respectively up or down). After adjustment, tighten the bolts securing the lock.
