...as well as a special key «at 13» for loosening the brake lines.
1. Remove the windshield frame trims (see «Removal and installation of overlays of a frame of a windscreen»).
2. Remove the noise-proof upholstery of the engine compartment (see «Removal and installation of a noise-insulating upholstery of a motor compartment»).
3. Pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir of the main brake cylinder with a rubber bulb or syringe (see «Removal and installation of a reservoir of the main brake cylinder»).
4. With a wrench to unscrew the brake pipes, unscrew the two nuts securing the brake pipes to the brake master cylinder..
5.... Disconnect the brake pipes from the cylinder and take them to the side. Keep in mind that after this some liquid will flow out of the main cylinder, so place a rag under the cylinder. Plug the holes in the brake pipes.
6. If necessary, remove the master cylinder reservoir (see «Removal and installation of a reservoir of the main brake cylinder»).
7. Key «at 13» unscrew the two nuts securing the cylinder to the vacuum booster housing...
8.... and remove the cylinder.
Note. This is what the brake master cylinder looks like removed from the car.
9. Establish the main brake cylinder upside-down. Pay attention to the condition of the rubber sealing ring, if cracks or signs of aging appear on it, replace the ring.
10. Bleed the hydraulic drive of the brake system (see «Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system»).
