1. Remove the vacuum booster assembly with the pedal assembly from the car and remove the booster from the bracket (see «Removal and installation of the vacuum amplifier»).
2. Remove the retaining clip from the pedal shaft.
3. Take out an axis of a pedal, take a pedal from an arm and remove from it a squeezing spring.
4. Take out from both parties from a pedal of the plug. Check and replace broken or worn bushings. Please note: the sleeves are split, which is not a defect.
5. Install the pedal in the reverse order of removal, having previously lubricated the bushings and the pedal axle with Litol-24 or LSTs-15 grease. Install the spring on the pedal axle on the right side so that its end a rests against the bracket, and end b is hooked onto the pedal lever.
