The immobilizer is built into the double-glazed window control unit. The system consists of a control unit, a control lamp in the instrument cluster, a communication coil in the ignition lock, a working key in the remote control and a learning key with a red label. The immobilizer operating modes are displayed by turning on the signaling device and the signals of the buzzer built into it.
The immobilizer control unit and the engine ECU can be in one of two states:
- 1 state - the immobilization function is disabled. In this state, the immobilizer control unit is turned off, there is no connection between it and the ECU, engine blocking is impossible;
- 2 state - the immobilization function is enabled (trained state). In this state, it is possible to block the engine, unlocking is carried out by receiving the correct password from the ECU from the immobilizer control unit.
The ECU and the immobilizer enter the trained state after learning the working keys using the learning key. At the end of the training procedure, both blocks go into the trained state.
Attention! In order not to lose the learning key (with red insert), use only working keys to start the engine.
