Removal and installation of a starter

You will need: ring wrenches «at 13», «at 15».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Remove the air filter (see «Removal and installation of the air filter»).



3. Turn away a nut of fastening of the plug...



4.... and disconnect the wire with the terminal from the contact bolt of the traction relay.



5. Disconnect a wire from the plug of the traction relay.



6. Turn away a nut of a hairpin of the top fastening...



7.... then the nut of the stud of the lower mounting of the starter...



8.... and remove the starter from the car.

9. Install the starter in the reverse order of removal.
