Engine disassembly features

Before dismantling, the engine must be thoroughly cleaned of contaminants, installed on a stand or stand (the engine must be stable). Use appropriate tools for disassembly (wrenches, pullers, etc.). When assembling, all parts that have not been repaired or replaced must be installed in their places where they have run in. To do this, when disassembling, it is necessary to mark them in any way that does not damage the parts. When repairing, it is forbidden to dismantle the connecting rod cover with connecting rods, the main bearing cap with the cylinder block, the cover of the camshaft bearings with the block head, since these parts are processed as an assembly. The crankshaft, flywheel and clutch can be dismantled as these parts are balanced separately. The clutch housing and cylinder block can also be dismantled: they are processed separately.
