On a car with a manual transmission, the clutch slips (engine speed increases, but the car does not start moving)
1. Faulty clutch release drive. Repair drive (see «Clutch - condition check»).
2. The lining of the clutch disc is badly worn or the central diaphragm spring of the clutch disc is faulty. Replace clutch assembly (see «Clutch - replacement»).
A car with an automated transmission does not start moving when the gear is engaged and the gas pedal is pressed
1. Strong wear of the lining of the clutch disc or the central diaphragm spring of the clutch disc is faulty (see «Clutch»). Replace clutch assembly (Cm. «Clutch - replacement»).
2. Faulty gearshift drive or gearbox control flea (see «Automated transmission»). To determine the fault codes of the robotic transmission, diagnose the control system using special diagnostic equipment. Eliminate the identified problem.
