Immobilizer (anti-theft device)

The car is equipped with a standard anti-theft system - immobilizer. When the key is inserted into the ignition lock, a special immobilizer sensor reads the secret code from it.



If the chip in the key is not recognized by the sensor, the anti-theft system will not allow the engine to be started.

Comment. The system may not identify the code of the key in the ignition lock if there is a second key near the lock, or if the key was stored near metal or magnetic objects.

Comment. In case of lost keys, contact an authorized center.

Warning! Do not expose the key to direct sunlight and high humidity. Do not drop the keys or place heavy objects on them.

The immobilizer is not compatible with the remote engine start system. Equipping a car with such a system can lead to engine starting problems and loss of anti-theft security.
