Comment. All gauges and control lamps of the instrument panel (except for the control lamps for opening the doors and turning on the headlights) work only when the ignition is on - the ON position of the key in the ignition switch.
- control lamp «Press the brake pedal!» (for vehicles with automatic transmission).
- anti-lock brake system malfunction indicator lamp (ABS). When the ignition is switched on, the control lamp lights up and goes out after starting the engine. If the control lamp lights up in other cases, there is a malfunction in the system, for the diagnosis of which special diagnostic equipment is required - contact a specialized service station. At the same time, the braking system of the car is fully operational - only the anti-lock braking system does not work.

- a control lamp for turning on the parking brake and a malfunction of the brake system. Illuminates when the ignition is switched on and; goes out after starting the engine. If the control lamp lights up while driving, this indicates a malfunction in the service brake system or a drop in the level of brake fluid in the reservoir. Also, the lamp lights up and starts flashing when the parking brake is applied. If the fault is related to electronic systems (distribution of braking forces, auxiliary braking, anti-slip control, preventing the car from rolling when starting off on a hill), then special diagnostic equipment is required for diagnosis - contact a specialized service station.
Warning! Vehicle operation with a lit brake system malfunction indicator lamp is prohibited!
- electric power steering malfunction indicator lamp. Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started. If the warning light comes on and stays on while the engine is running, this indicates a problem with the power steering system.
Warning! Drive with a non-working electric booster carefully, at low speed. Do not forget that when the amplifier is faulty, the force on the steering wheel increases significantly!
Comment. The electric power steering malfunction indicator lamp may come on when the battery is very low and the engine is idling or at a low engine speed. As a result, a voltage drop in the electrical circuit of the car disrupts the smooth operation of the electric booster. This is not a malfunction - the system will recover after replacing or charging the battery.
- battery charge control lamp. Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started. If the control lamp remains on or lights up while the engine is running, this indicates that the battery is not charged.
Warning! If the battery is not being charged, it will not last long (less than 10 km way), therefore, it is necessary to find and eliminate the cause of the malfunction or, avoiding the inclusion of unnecessary current consumers, move to a specialized service station.
- control lamp for open doors. When the ignition is turned on, it lights up for a few seconds. The lamp will be on continuously as long as the doors remain open, regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.
- open hood indicator lamp. When the ignition is turned on, it lights up for a few seconds. The lamp will be on constantly while the hood is open, regardless of the position of the key in the ignition.
- tailgate open indicator lamp. When the ignition is turned on, it lights up for a few seconds. The lamp will be on continuously as long as the trunk lid remains open, regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.
- emergency oil pressure warning lamp. Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started. If the lamp continues to burn or lights up while the engine is running, this indicates that there is no necessary oil pressure in the engine lubrication system - you must immediately stop the engine and do not start it until the malfunction has been rectified.
- control lamp of the fuel gauge. The lamp lights up permanently when there is a minimum amount of fuel left in the tank, reminding the driver to urgently fill up the car with fuel (see «Refueling a car»).
- warning lamp of insufficient fuel level. The lamp lights up permanently when there is a minimum amount of fuel left in the tank, reminding the driver to urgently fill up the car with fuel (see «Refueling a car»).
Warning! Try not to operate the car with a fuel tank filled less than 1/4, as this threatens to overheat the electric fuel pump and prematurely fail it. If there is not enough fuel, the engine may malfunction and this may damage the catalytic converter!
- control lamp for turning on cruise control (depending on configuration). Illuminates when cruise control is on. If the lamp flashes with the engine running or while driving, this indicates a system malfunction. For diagnostics and repair, contact a specialized service station.
- control lamp for turning on the electronic speed limiter. When activated, the system prevents the vehicle from exceeding the maximum speed selected by the driver.
- control lamp for a malfunction of the stability control system (ESC). Lights up for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on and after the stability control system is switched off. If the lamp starts flashing while driving, this indicates that the system has been activated. If the dump is constantly lit, this indicates a system malfunction. To diagnose and repair the stability control system, contact a specialized service station.
- control lamp for turning off the stability control system (ESC). Lights up for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on and after the stability control system is switched off. If the lamp starts flashing while driving, this indicates that the system has been activated. If the lamp is on constantly, this indicates a system malfunction. To diagnose and repair the stability control system, contact a specialized service station.
- control lamp for switching on outdoor lighting.
- control lamp for switching on the dipped headlights. Illuminates when the low beam headlights are turned on.
- a control lamp for turning on the high beam headlights. Illuminates when the high beam headlights are on.

- warning lamp for turning on the alarm.
- control lamp for turning on the right side turn signal.
- control lamp for turning on the left side turn signal.
- a warning lamp for a malfunction of the engine management system. When the ignition is turned on, it lights up for a few seconds. If the control lamp continues to burn or lights up when the vehicle is moving, this indicates a malfunction of the electronic engine control system. To find out the reasons, it is necessary to perform diagnostics of the engine management system. If the warning lamp flashes while the engine is running, this indicates a misfire in one or more cylinders. At the same time, to prevent failure of the catalytic converter, the system will automatically turn off the fuel supply to the failed cylinder. After that, the control lamp will start to burn constantly until the ignition is turned off. To diagnose a malfunction, special diagnostic equipment is required - contact a specialized service station.
- immobilizer control lamp. The lamp flashes when the switch (lock) ignition is in the STOP or ACC position. When the ignition is turned on, if the key code matches the code entered into the immobilizer memory, the lamp will go out. Otherwise, it will flash, and the immobilizer will block the engine from starting.
- low tire pressure warning lamp. If, when the ignition is switched on, the control lamp lights up or lights up while driving, one or more tires have low air pressure. It is necessary to stop, check the pressure in the tires of all wheels and bring it to normal. The system monitors the pressure in all the wheels of the car, except for the spare one. If after turning on the ignition the control lamp flashes, a malfunction has occurred in the system itself. To diagnose and repair the system, contact a specialized service station.
