To perform the work, you will need an inspection ditch or overpass, a wide container with a volume of at least 4 liters and a funnel with a hose or a special oil syringe.
The test is carried out with the engine off.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. We install the car on a viewing ditch or overpass
3. Remove the engine mudguard (see «Mudguard of the engine - removal and installation»).
4. Using a 17 mm socket or spanner wrench, unscrew the plug of the control hole.
5. With a paper strip rolled up, we check the oil level in the gearbox (it should be at the level of the lower edge of the control hole).
6. If the level is lower, add gear oil to the gearbox (see below).
7. At the end of the check, we wrap the plug in the control hole.
